Mr. Majeed Arakkal began his illustrious career in sales at a jewellery and gradually elevated to
the managerial position as a reward to his dynamic administration and leadership qualities . In 1992 he joined a renowned jewellery brand at kozhikode and served as the general manager. With the rich experience and confidence amassed over the years, he started his own Jewellery at Kozhikode and later on successfully opened a few more retail outlets in North
Kerala
In pursuit of the enthusing business spirit he also ventured into manufacturing. By 2009 he
decided to concentrate fully on the manufacturing, and so he gradually withdrew from retailsegment phase by phase. Again, the dream of creating something big urged him to spread his wings to the Middle East . And thus Vismaya Trading and Jewellery Works WLL, with interests in manufacturing, wholesale, export and bullion sales was setup in Qatar in 2016. It’s one of the biggest factories in Qatar with all the state-of-the-art technology and expansion plans across the Middle East & Far East, in the immediate future.
He also established a center at Dubai in 2023, for wholesale and bullion trading and also with immediate plans to start a factory.
His dream is to setup an ultra-modern refining & jewellery manufacturing unit in Saudi Arabia, which will be the largest of it’s kind in the Middle East. This factory will set new benchmarks in the region and also serve as a global hub for bullion sales and jewellery exports, adding glitter & glow to the progressive evolution of Saudi Arabia.
